Staffing

Across all of our nurseries, we have a well-organised and supportive staffing structure that ensures we provide the highest quality of care and education for every child.

All staff employed by Amcol Scotland Ltd are fully vetted, members of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme and registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Staff working directly with children hold the appropriate qualifications for their role and are committed to ongoing professional learning and continuous development.

We are proud to have a strong team of trained professionals throughout our nurseries, including:
• Qualified First Aiders across the buildings
• Staff trained in Paediatric First Aid
• Staff certified in Elementary Food Hygiene
• Designated Mental Health First Aiders

We also operate a structured mentoring programme to support all new staff. This ensures that every team member feels confident, supported and fully prepared to provide safe, nurturing and high-quality experiences for the children in our care.
