About Amcol Scotland Ltd.

Amcol Scotland Ltd is a private company established in 1996 as a subsidiary of New College Lanarkshire (formerly Motherwell College). The company is governed by a Board of Directors and a Managing Director ensuring strong leadership and clear strategic direction across all of our nurseries.

Our journey began in 1996 with the opening of Firtrees Nursery. Originally created to support families within the college community Firtrees quickly grew in response to increasing demand for high-quality childcare. The nursery continues to work in close partnership with New College Lanarkshire by supporting parents who choose to further their education.

As demand for our services increased Amcol expanded to welcome additional nurseries into the organisation. Fullwood Nursery joined the group, followed by Meiklewood Nursery and Bellwood Nursery which further strengthening our presence across North Lanarkshire and Glasgow.

Today, Amcol Scotland Ltd operates multiple nurseries across central Scotland, providing high-quality early learning and childcare within nurturing, supportive environments for children and families.
